Taman Keramat Library, Kuala Lumpur

Khind Starfish Foundation was established by Khind Holding Berhad, a public listed company on Bursa Malaysia to carry out corporate responsibility projects and activities of the Khind Group in Malaysia.

The Foundation’s premise is: “We deliver happiness”

Keramat Library is one of thebeneficiary from the Foundation in the year 2020.

Taman Keramat is located in the district of Ampang in Selangor. According to President of Community Garden, they have been frequent reports of criminal activities in the community in the past. In the year 2015, the community has launched their self-initiated AU2 ROLPOP community garden by Klang River.

The president raise the concern of lack of space for the children who often tag along with their grandparents or parents while they were working in the farm.

Through community engagement session that last for more than a year, the idea of a Public Library is born.
