Responsibility is a contraction of the words “response” and “ability” thus could be referred to “one’s ability to respond to the environment.”

School of Architecture and Built Environment seeks to create an environment in which students learn to take responsibility for their action. They are to show personal integrity and care to be a positive member of the professional community in the future.

While Architecture is a profession that deals with human community and the ecosystem, we are constantly making decision and juggling the balance.

Recognizing that the product (architecture) will have greater impact to both community and ecosystem is crucial to our profession and we should always be mindful of who do we want to be.
